BMI supports the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and has the Chairperson for the Membership of the Raleigh Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (RAIFA). Annually, BMI through RAIFA, produces a Halloween and Christmas party for the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, North Carolina. Cotton the Clown is an annual participant in these festivities. BMI and RAIFA also cook dinner at the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill, and participate in and solicit donations for the "Walk for Life" in Raleigh.
